"Art has been one of my favourite pastimes since childhood and I have had very encouraging art teachers through high school.
Studying Interior Design at the University of Manitoba, further developed my sense of design, spatial perception, colour harmony, painting in watercolour as well as the mechanical skill of drafting.  However, not choosing to continue in a career as an Interior Designer, I settled into a career of technical illustration, which required a steady hand and meticulous attention to detail, using pen and ink.
In my leisure time, through the years, I have taken classes in watercolour as well as in acrylics.  I have participated in workshops with Brent Laycock, David Langevin as well as workshops with Regina artist, Donna Kriekle and local artists, including Saskatoon artist, Iris Hauser.  Now in my retirement, I have returned to painting and am exploring art through the use of acrylic paints."
