Ted Hansen
I discovered a love of art quite by chance over twenty years ago when the history class I intended to take at the U of S was full so I enrolled instead in a sculpture class taught by well known local artist Bill Epp. I have been active as an artist ever since. Although I had done some painting in acrylics at university, I had been working primarily as a sculptor in clay and bronze when I first joined Jean Williams' Montgomery watercolour group. The other major influence in my painting career has been Lloydminster artist Graham Flatt. I have been attending his watercolour workshops regularly for years and continue to be impressed by the wealth of knowledge he has to share.
